Well going to France was a pretty neat experience overall. I intentionally had gone over specifically to compete in a bike race, but the whole visit was much much more than that. Many areas of the country have extremely interesting connections to history.
One of the places I enjoyed was the Lyon Parc, its a free parc that you just walk in, enjoy, and walk out. No admission fees etc etc.
The zoo itself was pretty cool. Although I'm not one for seeing large wild animals inside Plexiglas boxes, seeing some of the other creatures, some I'd never seen before, was a great opportunity to practice some photography.
